Mageia and Mint 14

I thought that I would install Mint14 alongside Mageia KDE to give me a change of enviroment, and because some programs such as Picasa and Spotify are not available in Mageia. However when the booy menu appears only mageia is shown, no trace of Mint.

I gather this is because Mint use Grub2 . Can I get around this and have Mint as an alternative or should I u-install Mint by reformatting the partition that it is installed in.

Can I install Cinnamon as a choice in Mageia. :?

You do not necessarily have to boot into Mint14 to install grub if you can boot to a live cd session. If you cannot boot to a live cd that is a different set of problems.

I decided to delete Mint 14 after all. What is the position with Cinnamon. If I install Gnome, can I then install Cinnamon on top of it.
