Subject: Why Mageia asks me for the DVD to install software?

Hello guys. I have installed Mageia2 using virtual box and was trying to install Transmission to see how adding software works in Linux, and after I accepted the installation of the additional packages needed for the program to work it asked me to insert the DVD from which I installed Mageia2 (specifically asked for Mageia-2-i586-DVD to be inserted) to proceed. I clicked 'cancel' and it said installation had failed, then repeated the process again and instead inserted the DVD (remember I'm on Virtual Box) and everything went fine, Transmission was successfully installed.

Obviously there is something I haven't done that I need to, because it mustn't be normal that for installing every piece of software it asks for the DVD. So I would like to know if anyone can help me with this issue.

Thanks.

I'm so sorry guys, the answer to my question is here: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Software_management . I should get used to read the documentation first and ask questions later.

By the way, the wiki is TERRIFIC! Great job everyone is doing here.
