A very stupid little question about Mageia 3 Beta

The question is really simple.

If I install Beta1 now, will that allow me to continiously update it to (Beta2...RC...) Stable and freeze it there?

My main problem is essentially, that Mageia 2 does not install for UEFI/GPT booting, while 3B1 supposedly does. I have an ASUS laptop which is proving to be a pain in the *** for installing linux distribution (so far, only SUSE worked, but I don't really like Novell).

I don't know if you'll freeze at mga3 or continue on with cauldron.

Best bet is that when 3 is released remove all cauldron sources then add 3 sources.

If it's only for the booting, look for a thread from wintpe, he explains how he did it on his Asus Zenbook.
Telling the installer to use the full disk is the thing to do, IIRC. Relevant threads:
