Hi,
I can't figure out how to install Mageia with xfce. The install disks I downloaded a couple of months ago only give the option of KDE, Gnome or Custom yet I understand that Mageia can be installed with xfce. I have had a good look at the downloads page and there is not a seperate install disk for xfce and is doesn't appear to be available as an option during install.
Does Mageia come with xfce and if so how do I install it?

xfce is on the install DVD, but unfortunately it cannot be selected during install.

What you need to do is select 'custom' and select lxde desktop.

Once install is completed enable the online repositories in mageia control centre>software>software sources and then install the package task-xfce

When you log out. you will then be able to choose xfce from the login menu.
