How to change the background image?

Hello. How to change the user background image (wallpaper) in Mageia 2 for a picture of my choice ?

If ou are using KDE:
Click the right mouse button on the desktop and select "Folder View Settings", and choose the images available or click in "Open" and select the image of your choice.





If you are using Gnome (classic)
Access "Application", "Tools", "System Tools", "System Settings", and in Personal click "Background", and choose the images available or click the plus symbol and select the image of your choice.

Thank you very much. What a strange name "Folder View Settings" is! Technically, the desktop is a folder, but in the user's mind it is not. Just think of the office metaphore expressed by the words: a desk-top is a large board on the top of your desk, on which one can put folders or documents. It's not a folder itself. I had clicked on the right-button of my mouse, but nothing had evoked to me the wallpaper settings. Is this vocabulary KDE's choice, or Mageia's one?

It is KDE. In their understanding the screen (what you call 'desktop') is a folder. Just like in Linux - everything is a folder in the root tree.
