Hi Jemartins,

Welcome to the Mageia Forum! :D

Are you installed Mageia 2. KDE LiveCD or DVD?

Are you with the media enabled (1,3,11,13,21 and 23) and updated?

You use the KDE interface in Portuguese language. If you speak Portuguese, you can get help in MageaiBrasil Forum, whose default language is Portuguese.

I had posted that question in brazilian forum. There is no response.

Let me say where it occur:

1. I have /home mounted via nfs.
2. The authentication is in LDAP server.

Maybe somebody knows the solution.

Regards.

The problem is the /home mounted via NFS, that's an upstream bug with KDE, and appears with NFS, SMB or sshfs shared /home folders (basically anything that's not a local filesystem).

But should be fixed with KDE 4.10.2 according to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=290680#c4 and https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=178678

Thanks, doktor5000.

In fact, it was fixed in KDE 4.10.2.

In Mageia 2 I discovered a workaround putting the files .desktop in one folder in local file system and making a symbolic link in ~/Desktop for those files. I don't know why but it works..
