I keep getting a pop-up box that states "The password you typed is invalid.
Please try again."
Is there any way to eradicate it ; because when I try to click on the upper-right corner to close it ,it just returns .
Thanking you,
katosan :?

This warning also appears a few times here, after the beginning of Mageia 2 and after I enter the root password of the firestarter.
Even typing the right password, the error message appears, without apparent reason. I close the session (log out). At the start of the new session, and warning error no longer occurs.

I not registered the bug because it occurs infrequently, for no apparent reason and I can not repeat it.

Hi,
The error with the password happened in Mageia 1. I typed the correct password, but but this warning appeared:
    Image
The warning says: The password typed is invalid.
    Please try again.

I opened a terminal, typed the root password, and was accepted.
Then I tried to access any other application, and appeared error message

Code: Select all
[user@localhost ~]$ su -
Password:
[root@localhost ~]# firestarter

(firestarter:3827): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:
[root@localhost ~]# dolphin
unnamed app(3864): KUniqueApplication: Cannot find the D-Bus session server:  "/usr/bin/dbus-launch terminated abnormally with the following error: Autolaunch error: X11 initialization failed.
"

unnamed app(3863): KUniqueApplication: Pipe closed unexpectedly.

[root@localhost ~]# kwrite
kwrite: cannot connect to X server
[root@localhost ~]#

I closed the session (log out). At the start of the new session, no error appears and everything returns to work correctly.
