can't logon with other user

I i am new here and i wanna know if someone can help me, my problem is how when i wanna change the user and enter with the user ROOT apears a withe screen with a legend saying how a problem as ocurred or something like that and i can´t chance the user and the only ting how i can do is restar the PC.

i wanna change the privilegios of my count because i'm new in Mageia and i wanna learn it

Other problem is how i don have a wireless driver and i can only conect to the internet by LAN but the WLAN not work but i tink that problem goes in other post so i wanna know if someone know why i can change of user in mageia

Sorry for my inglish but what i know of inglish i learn it for the video games and i cant study inglish i hope someone can helpme

in mageia you don't need to login as root,
as when root privileges are required Mageia will ask you the root password.

for example you can open MCC (Mageia Control Centre) and try to setup your wifi,
when necessary Mageia will ask you your root password and will do the root job.

but my problem is when i wanna change of acount apears a wtihe screen and the only thing that i can do is reboot the pc and when it start by default open my acount and don't let me change to other acount..

the WiFi conections show me a message or a line how say something about the firmware and i don't know the firmware ""que hace falta""

for the moment for me is most important the withe screen how appear when i tried to change the acount is very "molesto" :@

so when you do a user log off your screen become white and you can't do nothing.

are you using gnome, kde or what?

and it would be useful to see the exact error message you see on the screen...

i actually use gnome, i wanna change to KDE but the MCC can't be open in a graphic mode and when i open in a terminal are many option how dosen't do anything so i can't change to KDE
