The host freezes only when I try to launch KMix, any idea?

Hello,

Mageia is working fine, until I clicked on KMix in Menu - Sound & Video, the program Kmix did not launch and it froze my 64 bit Desktop, and it is KMix because I have multiple applications and 2 VMs running simultaneously and the Host works like a charm. The host freezes only when I try to launch KMix.

Any idea about a fix for KMix? Do I need KMix? KMix came with Mageia KDE 64bit CD.
