good hard drive tester?

good hard drive tester?

I've used clonezilla to transfer Mageia over to a larger hard drive, but now everything is running at about a 3rd the speed I'm accustomed to.
is there a good speed tester I can run on both drives then compare the results?

Try Palimpsest, it can do read/write benchmarks.
