Mandriva 2010.2 kde upgrade to mageia 1 rc

Mandriva 2010.2 kde upgrade to mageia 1 rc

I would like to upgrade mandriva 2010.2 to mageia 1 rc.
what is the correct way to do this procedure. i will appreciate any input on this subject.

You should be able to just boot the Mageia install DVD and choose 'Upgrade'.
Starting in 1999: Mandrake > Mandriva > Mageia

Hello Germ, thank you for your response, i have a partition with Mandriva 2010.2 kde installed,
is it possible to add Mageia mirrors, and remove Mandriva repo's, a dvd as suggested by you could also be a clean
install.

Yes, you can just switch the repos and do and update (urpmi --auto-update, better to start this more than once).
