Dutch language(it is also in others languages) and the rest is in English!

The same here, although I didn't try with a fresh Dutch install, but by upgrading an existing Mageia 2 LXDE install, choosing Dutch as preferred language and making a new user "Dutch".

The Gimp is really weird, part of the items you can choose from the drop-down menu's are in Dutch, other items are in English.

I don't see how that could be caused during packaging, so I guess it is an upstream bug.

More people think so https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=675601
And a screenshot of the Dutch translations that were available in version 2.6 but went missing in version 2.8 http://bugzilla-attachments.gnome.org/attachment.cgi?id=214064

There is a bug report about this issue in our bugzilla, too https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6403

@ Kiekeboe

Do you mind changing the title of this thread to something like "GIMP translations partly missing", so people using other languages who have the same problem will more easily find this thread? The problem exists at least in Dutch, Bulgarian and Hungarian.
