Live CD won't boot.

When I try to boot the Mageia live CD, this is the result:

Code: Select all
dracut Warning: Unable to process initqueue
dracut Warning: "dev/disk/by-label/Mageia-2-KDE4-LiveCD" does not exist
dracut Warning: "/live/union" does not exist
Dropping to debu shell
sh: 0: can't access tty; job control turned off
dracut:/#

What do I need to do to get it to work?

Did you verify the download?
Did you verify the burn?
Is it an internal optical drive or external USB?

As you see you need to provide more information for help to even start.

It looks like it's losing the USB connection part way into loading.
If the drive is connected through a hub you might try a direct connection, other than that I don't know.

This often happens with some dvddrives i have, my full size one in a 5 inch box for example boots but then during the usb detection part disappears, yet my samsung mini slimline portable one works fine, so could just be the chipset in the usb device on the cd or dvd drive thats obscure and not supported the linux kernel
