After upgrading, I had a big balck margin on the left of my screen and all the display was shifted to the right. I tweeked the settings on MCC until I found the correct one (not always the same!). It asks me to reboot so the setting takes effect but it does not so I have to re-play with the setting each time I boot.
My card is NV44[GeForce6200LE]

It does not reboot or it does not accept the new settings? And which settings did you change actually, and which should be the correct one. Please, give at least some basic details, like display/monitor, resolution and the driver which is currently in use.

I am back on M2 -clean install. Same display with a shift to the right, I managed to fix it by ´playing´ with resolution-driver, testing with each change, comming back to the 1stlot testing and it worked. BUT, if I reboot, I get back to the roght shift so it is a pain since there does not seem to be any logic in the settings. It seems changing the setting randomly and then getting back to the frist settings plays the trick...this time but I do not trust it.
If anyone has a idea on how to make these settings ´stick´, please tell me.

That sort of phenomenon is usually fixed by adjusting the controls on the monitor itself. Some monitors have an "auto-adjust" button. After you centre the display, using those controls, the monitor will usually "remember" the correct setting for the combination of sync rate and resolution that is being used.
