[SOLVED] Movie Player Icons

I don't know when it happened, but it seems that my Movie Player Icons hasve gone missing and thye are showing the generic icon for all buttons.

You can see at the bottom of the attached picture that the buttons show as generic icons. The problem is I'm not sure what config file I need to update in order to resolve this problem?

Seems like you're running Totem (a GTK app) under KDE Plasma. Your environment is probably configured to use KDE's Icon Theme, so try changing that under System Settings ("configure your desktop") > Common Appearance > Application Appearance > Icons.

There, set a different Icon theme, click apply, then open Totem (Movie Player) again. If the icons are back, you can set your old icon theme again, and re-apply.

I am having the same issue... The icons work fine under Gnome, but under Fluxbox(my main wm) they are the red 'ghostbuster' like in the OP's picture. I gave up trying to 'fix' it because Totem still functions just fine, but it is a bit annoying. Thanks, Doktor, for the link to the Errata page.
