[solved]gfxboot problem with DVD installer

Hi all!
Last night I downloaded the Mageia-2-x86_64-DVD/Mageia-2-x86_64-DVD.iso. Then I checked the MD5sum which looked good and I burnt the .iso.
Now when I reboot the machine with the DVD I get the following message;

Loading bootlogo...
EDD: Error 1000 reading sector 1745760
bootlogo: invalid file format
Error setting up gfxboot
boot:
Loading bootlogo...

over and over.
I tried several times rebooting with the same result.
I also tried booting while pressing the F3 key so I could type; radeon.nomodset=0 nomodset but I never have the opportunity to do so.

btw my video card is a ATI Rage 128 Pro Ultra TF

Am I doomed or is there a way to install Mageia on this computer?

Did you verify the burn?

That was the problem Ken. I burnt a new copy and it finally installed. I am replying from Mageia right now.
