Missing knetworkmanager

Today I've downloaded rc dvd of Mageia 1.
The only way of starting internet connection for me is using knetworkmanager.
I have usb mobile modem and standard network center do not work with it.
And my question.
Why is knetworkmanager missing on dvd?
According me there is enough free space on dvd and this package is quite useful not only for me.

NetworkManager isn't installed by default, so knetworkmanager isn't installed by default. Mageia still uses drakx-net.

networkmanager is packaged in the repos for users, like yourself, who want/need to use it.
