[SOLVED] How to update

Postby keithclark » Jun 1st, '12, 19:41

I'm new to Mageia and have just installed it inside a virtualbox. I am trying to find a way to update my system but for the life of me I don't see a way to do it. I'm running Gnome. Where is the Control Centre application? Is that where updates are done? I don't find it when looking under 'All' applications.

Thanks,

Keith

If you find a solution to a problem, please be so nice to post it so that others who are searching for the same solution can reuse yours. Otherwise they will maybe find your thread here, but no solution ...

Sorry about that. Solution was that I literally 'found it'! Just thought it was called 'Control Centre' and not Mageia Control Centre.

Well, the abbreviation for that is mcc which is what you can also use to run it from a terminal, which is a symlink to drakconf, and and abbreviation for Mageia Control Center. But maybe this changed for Mageia 2, i'm not 100% sure about that.
