I installed Mageia 2 KDE Beta 3 i586 Live CD last month and since then have brought it up-to-date to release status.

My question is which package(s) need to be installed to have the help files populated. Currently when I bring up help and click on a topic, it comes back with a message titled "Error - KDE Help Center" with a message like "The file or folder help:(name of file) does not exist.

Install task-kde4-handbooks. This will install the help files for all of the kde applications included on the live CD. (They are not included in the live CD because there is insufficient space.)

Alternatively, you can install the help files for specific applications. Search in the software installer for handbook.

Thanks Jim.

task-kde4-handbooks was the package I needed to install. It was a 38 MB download.
