Uhmm, that daemon which is responsible for bluetooth would be bluez, and it should be always installed when you have any bluetooth applet already running, so no need for that. Under KDE, it's like pressing the bluetooth button above my keyboard, making sure my box is discoverable by other devices (has to be done only one time and then just start sending files to other devices, or browsing them or sending files to my box.
