I understand that there will be live CD of Mageia (shipping KDE and Gnome) and a "Free" DVD version. Will there be 64 bits version ?
Mageia is said to be a Linux distribution that is easy to use, if nothing was done specially for installing non free programs (like flash, drivers, codecs ...) when installing the "Free" DVD version, will there be links that makes those installations easier ?
PS : I'm with bêta 2, and this Mageia is Wonderful
. Thatnks to all the team !
Hi Celtique :
1- There is already a 64 version of Mageia "Free" DVD and the question about 64 bits Lives CD was asked in ML and somewhere else on the forum (I cannot remind). This question is not solved AFAIK
2- MCC is your best friend for configuration : it can auto install drivers (if needed, and with non free enabled). For the installation of codecs and flash, your suggestion is interesting. Maybe the welcome page that is shown by default on browsers should be changed to have those links, and wiki links for example.

Bonjour Celtique :
Cordialement
EDIT : this post is not on the correct session, don't it fits better in Alpha Beta and RC ?
