Could you please rephrase that sentence, so more people actually understand what you mean?
Do you mean under KDE, if you launch some program, the icon which is jumping up and down next to the cursor?

You can at least disable it in systemsetings -> Application- and System Notifications and it should also be possible to change the icon size
via systemsetings -> Application Appearance -> Icons, but i'm not sure which setting is responsible for that.

thanks for your reply

In M1 under KDE the animation after clicking an icon is quite small and neat.
this is not a complaint about M2b3 but the same animated "baby "icon is quite a lot larger and "blocky ".
I was just wondering if it is possible to make this jumping icon smaller and neater in M2.

Well, there seems to be some strange setting in your installation, just tried in my cauldron vm, which is up-to-date and KDE was starting with a fresh configuration, and the jumping icon is as small as it should be. Maybe you want to move away/rename your ~/.kde4/ folder to also get a fresh configuration?

enabling 3D effects [ mcc-hardware-configure graghics-configure 3D desktop effects ] changes the bouncing cursor gif to the correct size. This happens in M2b2, M2rc and M2
