Hello..
The KDE task-bar is gray, but I know it could be transparent... but i don't know how to set it up.

Do you have any clue ?
Thanks.
Pierre

Use a transparent theme, my favourite one for this is "bare naked" absolutely transparent and without any borders.

Hi,
Are you using Mageia 1 or the Beta?

If you're using Mageia 1 the default theme isn't transparent. You'll need to open up your System Settings (Configure Your Desktop), go to Workspace Appearance, then to Desktop Theme. Under that menu you can use the Get New Decorations button to download new desktop themes.

If your'e using the Beta it seems like the Kwin compositing isn't working. You should go to System Settings then open up Desktop Effects and enable them if they are disabled. If you're having problems enabling them try changing the Compositing type by going to the Advanced tab in the Desktop Effects menu and select XRender instead of OpenGL or vice versa.

- Hope This Helps -

Hello.

I'm on beta.
Going to opengl rendering did the trick.

Thanks
