Very welcome to the Mageia-forum zxr250cc!!!!

Concerning your question:
Krecipes is not to be found in any of the regular repositories.
Also there has been no package request for this application so far.
So, i can only advise you to do a new request through:

https://bugs.mageia.org/enter_bug.cgi?p ... mat=guided

You may try out gourmet, which is a Gnome app for managing recipes, it may do the job as well and it is able to import recipes which were created with krecipes.

Where is KRecepie?

Hi,
when I used Madnriva I used one fine application - KRecipes. Now I'm using Mageia 2 (64 bit) and I needed to read one of my recipes and I found out that there is no KRecipes package in Mageia.
Does anybody know something why? Is KRecipes only 32bit version?

No one ever found time to package it for Mageia. There is more chance it'll be done if you do a package request for it in our Bugzilla.
https://bugs.mageia.org/
Please choose "File a Bug" - "Mageia" - "New RPM package request" (for Component) - "1" or "2" (for version) - "All" (for Hardware Platform) -"krecipes" (for Source RPM) - "http://krecipes.sourceforge.net/" (for URL) - "krecipes, KDE recipy tool - Your Way to Cook with Tux" (for Summary)
Don't forget to add (in the Details) that krecipes-2.0-0.alpha6.1mdv2010.1 was in Mandriva 2010.2 and why you think the software is great.
Finally, set "Enhancement" (for Severity) and submit the report.

Because the package was in Mandriva 2010.2, it doesn't need to be backported for Mageia 1 and 2, but it can go in Mageia 1 en 2 updates instead. We don't have backports, yet.

Can you improve the title of this thread? You accidentally typed "KRecepie" instead of "KRecipes" ;)

Oops. when I replied to your new thread, I wasn't aware this thread was already there.

I hope a moderator will add your new thread to this one.

@ Isadora

Is it possible and a good idea to add this thread to the "where can I find krecipes" thread? viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2140

I tried downloading the RPM files from OPENSUSE for krecipes but they need some dependencies that are not in Mageia so they did not work. krecipes is an excellent program. doesn't anyone in here cook and eat food?

Cheers,

gcd

If you do a package request
https://wiki.mageia.org/en/How_to_repor ... ge_request
you'll improve the chance someone will package it for Mageia

You can use the same login name + password for Bugzilla as you use for the forum

Please put a link to the bug report in this thread when you made your request, so no one else will duplicate it.
