Hi,

I used Google Chrome but I would like reuse firefox, I have only one small problem with it.

Indeed, when I close, not close it (the process, but the window yes) and uses 25% CPU and the computer gets hot a lot.

It is the same with Thunderbird.

I deleted thefolder .mozilla to /home/<user> without success.

I use firefox 9.0.2. I try to update firefox with "Core Update testing (10.0.2), but same problem.

With ksysguard, I collected some information:
Process 7696 - firefox

Summary

The process firefox (with pid 7696) is using approximately 44.3 MB of memory.
It is using 40.6 MB privately, and a further 23.5 MB that is, or could be, shared with other programs.
Dividing up the shared memory between all the processes sharing that memory we get a reduced shared memory usage of 3.7 MB. Adding that to the private usage, we get the above mentioned total memory footprint of 44.3 MB.
Library Usage

The memory usage of a process is found by adding up the memory usage of each of its libraries, plus the process's own heap, stack and any other mappings, plus the stack of its one other thread.
