KDE knote content

Postby pmithrandir » Feb 24th, '12, 23:09

Hello.

I had an issue with my kde folder. KDe was blocked, so finally, to start it again, I moved .kde4 to .kde4old.
Now, KDE works, but I loose all my plasmoid, and the most important one Knote.

I can add it again, but I would like to know where I can find the old content to recover it.
I can manage to redo all config, but that was datas... and I'm not sure I will remember everything.

Thanks
Pierre

I think that will be found in .kde4old/share/apps/knote.

Sorry, I don't use knotes but AFAIR your notes should be stored in the before mentioned folder as *.ics files as knotes is part of korganizer.

When it's a part of kdepim suite, wouldn't it save the notes somewhere via akonadi?
Just guessing, as i've not used knotes before ...

I tested knotes sometimes ago and the notes were stored as an ics file in $HOME/.kde/share/apps/knotes as I remember. This file could be connected to korganizer as a calender resource and the notes were visible in Journal.
