[SOLVED] Wastebin full ???

I am trying to delete files but cannot
the wastebin says it has reached its maximum size and needs to be manually emptied
however the wastebin IS empty

a check on its properties with Dolphin
says 0 B, 0 files

help

hi

1/ Check the capacity of your wastebin- right mouseclick the wastebin, click wastebin settings, check that the maximum size of the wastebin is useful [ 10% ].adjust if neccesary

or

2/ Delete the waste bin from the system tray, reboot and then to reinstall it, use ¨ add widgets ¨ via the panel tool,box [ bottom right in KDE ]

You can also do a direct delete using the edit drop-down menu, note however that it doesn´t put it in the wastebin.
