I have problem changing the email address in my forum account. I enter my new email and confirm, but get an error: "The current password you entered is incorrect."

It is not incorrect, as I log on with the same password?
Maybe I am not skilled to change my own email address?

Tried with my test-account, but no problems what-so-ever.
Used the password which is used for logging in into the forum.

However, i have sent your problem to admin.

In down of that page there is section "current password" where you need to set your password if you change your email.If you have something in section new password you need to clear those first.

There is an error somewhere.

I know my password as long as I can log in to the forum. Someone must help me to change the email address, as mail.com has blocked my account, and are not helpful helping me to gain access. I am now running my own mailserver, as I not really trust other people handling my mail.

As i wrote earlier, i have set this through to admin.

That's something that is likely broken.
The email is stored in our directory, accessed by identity.mageia.org. Syncing the database of phpbb with our ldap is on the todo list, so i am rather surprised that this worked to set it in phpbb ( IMHO, this is gonna cause problem in the future if we start to duplicate configuration everywhere ).

truls, can you check that you can access fine on identity.mageia.org with your password ?

Yes, login at identity.mageia.org works fine. Can I change my email address myself? I haven't touched anything yet.

You can change this through identity.mageia.org (and only through it)

We need to work on profile data synchronization between identity and the others websit as misc explained very well (as usual ^^)
