The korganizer calendar it is not synchronized with google calendar

Before ( 1-2 months i think so) it worked.

after, when i realized that it does nt work anymore, i deleted the gcal resource and i tried to added a new akonadi google calendar resource. After adding it i have the message: "Failed to retrieve events". I tried multiple times i have the same error

Then i'm afraid i can't help you, as i neither use kmail nor Akonadi. You could only try to launch korganizer from a terminal, and see if there is any output when you delete that gcal resource or whatever doesn't work.

I would recommend you to move away from akonadi-googledata, as it is mostly unmaintained. Enquire with your distribution if they can switch to another similar project (called "akonadi-google" by some distributions) which uses "libkgoogle".

Well, we already have akonadi-google and libkgoogle, maybe you just need to switch to it? Please show the output of

No need to, i already looked what we have packaged, we have both and also libkgoogle, you just need to verify what you have currently installed.

Check which mirror you're using, maybe by looking with urpmq --sources akonadi-googledata

And it has been there since 20th of december last year, so you better use another mirror.

i will wait the release of mageia 2, i have the google calendar synchronized with my mobile, it would be great to be synchronized with my pc too

Credit where credit is due (and why not add some positive feedback?): This seems to work in Mageia 2! I upgraded from Mageia 1, but started with a fresh home directory. I messed up the configuration on the first attempt, but after uninstalling akonadi-googledata (and just keeping akonadi-google) the second attempt worked. I can now read and write my Google calendar, contacts and tasks, from the web interface, from my phone, or from Kontact! Thank you, Mageia.

I have the same problem in Mageia 4, it was working, but now there's no way to configure google calendar. i reomved the one i had, as it wasn't synchronizing, nad now all atempts to add a new google calendar fail. plus there's no akonadi-google for mageia 4 anywhere i look...
