Which system settings tool do you mean? Is it KDE or Gnome's tool?
Which kind of installation did you do, from which media (DVD or LiveCD? If LiveCD, which one?) or was it a net-installation?

systemsettings comes with the package kdebase4-workspace, which is a required package for all KDE installations, as it's already required by task-kde4-minimal.
If you know the filename which you're missing (in this case the systemsettings command) you can search for which package this is contained in the currently enabled repositories via urpmf like so:
- Code: Select all
urpmf systemsettings

Thank you Doktor5000
I will check the installation
it likely is related to the most common source of computer problems -:)
