Hi,
I installed Mageia 1 on a Dell latitude D630 laptop. I didn' t meet any problem, all the hardware well working out of the box !
But the wifi is automatically disconnected after about 2 mn without use.
How to make it permanent ?
Wifi on the laptop: Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG [Golan] Network Connection
Acces point: Freebox + WEP

Do you have network hotplugging enabled?

From Mageia network applet select configure>Advanced uncheck network hotplug.

Network hotplugging is actually enabled. If I uncheck it, the problem is still there, the connection is broken after a while. But I noticed that each time I went to see this check-box, it was automatically re-checked !
