[SOLVED] Edit as Root

Please can someone tell me how I can edit a text file as Root?

open a terminal and su to root,
then

kwrite /path/to/file

or

user the root terminal in mcc and kwrite again
registered Linux user 476319
registered machine 408663

That will not work if you forget to add a dash, like

If you want by right-click yhe file in dolphin (if you use KDE) look in MCC/software for kde-rootactions-servicemenu
