How to Copy / Paste
30 years ago in Windows it was nice to be able til use Ctrl-C / Ctrl-V on the keyboard.
20 years ago in Linux it was ever better / more simple : not needing to use the keyboard.
Just use the mouse left key to mark the text to be copied , move the mouse/cursor to the insertion point and middle-klick the mouse. That is all.
On a modern wheel-mouse the wheel is the middle button.
And using Focus control you can even copy between diffent windows like from browser to Writer or from text file to Konsole just by moving the mouse.
After installing Mageia 9 Plasma I discovered in Writer that it did not work as usual. It turned out to be a Plasma configuration issue.
In System Tray right klick the Clipboard icon and select Configure. See figure for setup.

Sorry I do not know how to insert a picture.
In General Configuration check "Selection and Clipboard".
Below select "always save"
In some cases they work differently. Inserting the picture above the Linux Copy/Paste only inserts the filename whereas Ctrl-C / Ctrl-V inserts the file URL .
Best Regards
