Disk BootOrder.

Disk BootOrder.

I have 3 disks:
](a) An SSD in M.2. format.
(b) A 1 TB hard disk.
(c)a 1 GB PATA HD.

I originally wanted the SSD to be /dev/sdc as a backup drive, but neither the salesgirl nor I knew any different. There was a place for it on the motherboard.
I FORGOT TO SAY: IF i RUN THssd ALONE, it is no longer detected.)
The mnew drive was configured as /dev/sda. Since
(aq)
(a)ver argue with computers, I accepted that. But Windoews 10 m wanted to use /dev/sda.
The forums offered two solutions:(a)(a)
(a) Change the boot sequence with efibootmgr;
(b) Edit /etc/default/grub to set the initial boot disk.
The second is only a Linux fix, while the first is more likely to edit the BIOS for every OS.

Am I right in my thinking?

Answering myself: I can't make /dev/sdc visible.The most straightforward answer is to put everything on sdb.

FWIW there's no relation between what the SCSI device names are and what order you configure in your BIOS/UEFI, those are independent.
