[SOLVED] program error running under wine

I installed the wine. And a program, which I unfortunately need, since the 2024 august deleted the online version. The program
starts. The text part is fine, but the menu is missing the button images. Or rather, as this is a also creates a table and graphs,
you can't see the graphs. It just see the black bar.
So it is useless. Something is missing. (?)
(No flatpak - only official repo) Mageia 9, xfce

Hello, might be helpful if you could add a screenshot and at least mention the actual name of the program.
Otherwise you probably need to lookup required options or changes for that program at https://appdb.winehq.org/ yourself.

Another option is to run Windows in i.e Virtualbox. I run W7 that way.

The interesting thing is that when I first installed it last year, it was no good. But I had a Linux Mint on the machine and it was fine.
I attributed this to the fact that he had already installed wine 9.
But now I had so many old outdated entries everywhere, and sometimes he did stupid things, that I reinstalled everything
from the beginning. Including Linux Mint.
And a newer version at that. But now it's no good there either. Really, who knows when Mageia 10 will be?

Is something missing inside the wine? Or on Linux?
And it's not a game to find it in a database. The virtualbox is the one I don't want. For that you need a complete win iso and license...

On the politically productive side, you could ask them about provinding Flatpak and/or Appimage of their software.
Eventually it may happen if enough ask.

Ohh yes.
But Wow! Success! Success!
I started it in terminal and checked what was wrong with it. libvulkan.so.1 was missing, but I couldn't find it anywhere, but a lot of d2d errors displayed.
So I tried disabling this d2d in the libraries and lo and behold it works. All icons appeared on the buttons and the graphs are visible.
