In the other thread you mentioned that the keyboard does not work during grub - that would make it a BIOS or hardware issue then because there are no drivers loaded when grub starts.
See e.g.
https://askubuntu.com/questions/423036/ ... o-keyboard or maybe
https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=375315 or
https://forum.manjaro.org/t/cant-use-ke ... b/168361/9Could also be an issue of fast boot enabled for dualboot windows box, where a reboot does not properly initialise all hardware unless fast boot is disabled.

Not sure how we should help with your wifi issue - maybe use wired internet in the meantime until you get that sorted ? In any case your network issues would be something for a separate topic.
Also you don't mention what the particular issue is with your keyboard - does your keyboard not work at all, or is it only the wrong layout and some keys are not working? You only wrote
I gave tried a number of configs and all are not the correct one.

Thanks for the reply. The keyboard is listed in plasma settings as gb. The mapping is off. I have checked the preview and it is incorrect. All the alpha key mappings are OK but the special character keys are incorrect. I have checked the other keyboard configuration on the plasma settings but can ot find the correct one.

I assume you mean can not type the @ character?
As a workaround here you go: copy and paste

Does the key that have the @ character produce other character as it should.
(verifying the switch in the key is working)
What is the actual physical keyboard layout, and what settings have you tried?

Yes that us the key. My shift key is not working do I only get the lower. It appears to be a ' character as liwer. The keyboard model selected by the system is generic 104 key PC. I have tried many others with no luck.

So neither right nor left shift key alter any other key?
Do CapsLock make uppercase letters? (as test, should not affect other keys than letters)
Do AltGr key work? You may test: select Swedish layout, then @ is on AltGr+2
If you reboot into grub, advanced choce, press e to temporarily edit an entry just to see what keys work - do the keys work there?
If they do, create a new user, and log in: do keys work? (fresh Plasma settings)
