I have searched for help but so far came up blank.
I have a Samsung nvme with Mageia on it, I have a WD Black HDD with Windows 11 on it.
I installed Mageia after windows 11, like I have done in the past and windows was always an option in Grub, but that was with older BIOS boards.
I am running a ASUS Dark Hero board with Ryzen 5950x CPU, I do not know how, or if it's even possible, to edit Grub to have the option for adding windows to the selections.

I dont even know where to start....
Ive searched and searched, to no avail, any guidence would be greatly appreciated..

Well, if you installed Mageia after Windows it should be added to grub by default, I can confirm that as I'm also running a dualboot setup.

Please post the output as root of
Code: Select all
os-prober
update-grub

I screwed the pooch, and poked where I shouldn't have poked and borked the whole thing up....

Just got done reinstalling windows, now to reinstall Mageia, but I wonder if I unplug the drive windows is on while installing Mageia I can just select the OS in the bios/uefi and not worry about boot loaders....
