Blank content in Mageia Control Center

In MCC each category only shows a blank space instead of the icons and their labels.
The cursor changes when hovering over the location of the missing items and clicking still opens the associated configuration dialogs.
See the attached screenshot.
The problems started, I think, after a recent kernel update.

This is the log when I start MCC from CLI:
