I used unetbootin and LiLi live usb creator and it froze at the splash screen both times. I have since used the network installation (everything worked perfectly with it) but I just what to know if there is a fix or if possibly I did something wrong so I can move up to the Mageia 2 alpha (I love testing the latest tech ) Thank you!

Please don't use unetbootin on Mageia ISOs, they are already hybrid (meaning you can boot them in live mode or write them directly to a flash device) as it will damage the boot process. Please have a look at our instructions for that: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Installation ... B_stick.3F
