screen locker during upgrade attempt

Well, the instructions are already written in in your screenshot, what do you mean you don't know what to do ?
This sometimes happens if you do the upgrade inside a graphical session and screenlocker is not disabled. This is why this is not recommended.

You need to complete your upgrade.
Apart from that, you didn't mention how you started the upgrade to Mageia 9 in the first place.
