[Done]NetInstall Mageia 9 32b on IBM R50 (old lap)[Done]

I am trying to NetInstall Mageia9 on an older IBM R50 32b laptop booting from flash disk that holds the 100MB network installation ISO.
I could proceed up until I have to "select the installation media" screen.
I tried both FTP and HTTP with no success. No matter which Mageia mirror address I selected (both default or manual selection).

The program proceed somewhat, up until I get the message:

"Loading program into memory", after which it returned to : "Please choose the installation media" screen.
I fail to understand what I am doing wrong
Please advise
JJF

It may be possible that your laptop is so old that the ethernet adapter is not supported and you don‘t have a internet connection. Hiw do you connect? Via LAN or Wifi?

Thanks
I am sure that internet connections are OK (both wired and wireless) as it communicate to other PC's on the LAN when I boot into Windows. (And during the process of installing Mageia, it detected the 2 Interfaces)
This is not the cause of the problem

At which step of the provided installation procedure exactly, do you get this message?
Did you verify the checksum of the downloaded netinstall ISO before dumping it onto a stick?

If there is sufficient spare space on the HDD, you can make a spare ~5GB partition, download the 32bit classical ,iso and put the downloaded .iso there.
You can also not make the 5GB partition, but then you need to find the downloaded .iso on the windows partition, using the very basic ncurses file navigation.

Then, restart the net-installer and point to the downloaded .iso as the install source.
choose install from harddisk and navigate to the downloaded .iso.

...or put the 32 bit classical ISO on the flash disk
...or use the 32 bit Live xcfe, and from it install the live, then adjust the installation

Thanks to all who responded.
For the sake of this (experimental) problem, few facts:
1. Similar procedure with Debian net ISO was completed successfully.
2. Currently, the size of the flash disk is limited to 2 GB (Of course I can buy a larger one and bypass the problem).
3. There in enough space on the HDD on which I am trying to install Mageia.

I guess that the source of the problem is the request for authentication when trying to download files from Mageia mirrors.

Please advise

There isn‘t any authentication needed to download from the mirrors!

( There may however occur other download problems, see https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Mageia_9_Errata#NetInstaller )

Hurray :)
( If you expected it to work ;) )

You can edit the topic headline of your first post above, and put [SOLVED) in front.
