[SOLVED]Login screen frozen during update to distro 9

Problem I have is with the Mageia distro release 9

session = Plasma

My laptop started the distro update, but fall into a screensaver lock and a black screen appeared
telling me to use CTRL-ALT-F2
followed by typing
loginctl unlock-session c2
and next use
CTRL-ALT-F1

This brings me back on the graphic login screen, but the button for login remains ''frozen''
clicking provided no reaction...

Have tried to shut off power and start over, but ended on the black command screen, where
again I tried the above commands - with the same result...

The login button is highlighted but doesn't react..

How can I unlock my system please...

## solved###
Could use sugestions to restart the update with commands
and following the full download/install a normal login
became possible...
System now fully restored running distro 9...
