Minimized Apps[Fixed]

In Mageia 8 Plasma when an app is open it shows an icon and name in the Panel and if the app window is minimized clicking on the icon in the Panel opens it again. In Mageia 9 it does not show the icon in the Panel therefore it cannot be opened again, is there a different setup to let Mageia 9 work the same way as Mageia 8?

Is this a fresh MGA9 installation or an upgrade from MGA8?

Then please try with a newly created user, if your issue also exists there.

Also, it would help if you could upload a screenshot how it looks for your existing user, maybe it's just a simple configuration change needed.

It works o/k for another user. I am going to check difference in setting between users when I get a chance.

It works o/k with a new user. There is a difference between the failing panel in photo there is a spacer in there but not in the working one see Snapshot of faulty dektop. The layout on both panels is the same but if I remove the spacer all the right side icons move to adjoin the left hand ones. I will compare the settings between users when I get a chance. The other Screenshot is one that happens very occasionally and it shows the missing minimized programs.

I have fixed it Task Manager Widget was missing adding it fixed the problem.

So the question is why upgrade made Plasma panel drop the Task Manager Widget...
If we see this more, it is should go into Errata.
