RAR support missing [solved]

Enclosed is screenshot of my sources config, the answer given in previous queries was "enable Nonfree"...well, as far as I can tell the correct repos are enabled, but searching for RAR or unrar in MCC Software Installer comes up blank. What am I missing? It's been a while since I last used Mageia, I've swung back to it from a Synaptic-using distro, so that's what I'm used to.

RAR is indeed not available as it has incompatible shareware licenses. So it would be a legal risk to include it in any distribution. There ore only a few linux distributions (only Debian and *buntu) which ship RAR (with the disclamer that it is shareware and needs registering...).

Unrar is available in Mageia. As you seem to use the graphical way to search for the package, you need to set the searchfilter to "All" , "All" as described here:

Thought I'd done that, then realized it was actually set to "All Updates" instead. D'oh. Well, got it now, quick and simple. Thanx!
