Linux Mageia how to disable the startup sound chime

hi there!

i have the last version of Mageia, barely installed it last week, Octomber 2022!

It looks great, but i do have one question - how do i disable that startup music/ chime it does, right after starting programs ?!

Please provide detailed instructions

Guessing you are using Plasma.


Go to System Settings > Notifications > Applications: Configure > Plasma Workspace > Configure Events > Login

untick the entry as required (the *play* icon is off)
