Bluetooth mouse will not connect

Postby truls » Nov 21st, '11, 22:24

My bluetooth mouse, Logitech M555b has been working for a long time. After a long trip not having the bluetooth mouse in use it will not connect again. Bluedevil (KDE) find the mouse, but no connection. A manual connect results in a error message:

sudo hcitool scan
Scanning ...
00:03:7A:C7:4A:BE n/a
00:07:61:FB:C6:6D Logitech Bluetooth Mouse M555b
localhost ~]$ sudo hidd --connect 00:07:61:FB:C6:6D
Can't get device information: Connection timed out

Anyone knows where to look for a solution?

There is a conflict between the onchip Broadcom bluetooth / Broadcom wifi card. Don't really know where to solve it. When the Broadcom wireless is in use the bluetooth adapter stops working.

Please show the output of
Code: Select all
rfkill list all
when the wireless is in use.
Cauldron is not for the faint of heart!
Caution: Hot, bubbling magic inside. May explode or cook your kittens!

Hello doktor,

I'm confused. Now everything works, both broadcom wifi / bluetooth mouse. Maybe you have magical power when you reply :)

I have made a slight change in my wifi setup, as I have followed setup instructions from Broadcom webpage. Afterwards everything works, but I am not able to exactly point out how or why.
