Hello,
I followed the instructions on https://miktex.org/download, Linux, Fedora.
On the step

Code: Select all

sudo dnf install miktex

it stops with these errors

(try to add '--skip-broken' to skip uninstallable packages)


I have tried to add -skip-broken but it still don't work.
Can you help me with some advices?

The provided library versions from Mageia are to new for the Fedora 28 repo. But even with the Fedora 34 repo there are some conflicts because the Fedora package naming scheme differs to Mageias ones. You could only try to build it from source...but i don't believe it will work...

Out of couriosity: Is there a big difference between Miktex and TexLive (which is in our Mageia 8 repos)? I don't use such kind of software so i'm not familiar with it...
