I have 2 Boot disks one with Windows10 and the other with Mageia8, and if I swap the Mageia8 Disk for the Windows10 Disk I have to run a USB Rescue Disk to re-install the Boot Loader. The disks are EUFI and swapping Windows10 for Mageia8 boots every time, and ideas?

Hi there, some details would be helpful.

What do you mean with swapping the disks in particular, like physical swapping? Also, why do you swap them? And if you swapped them, what error message do you get so that you have to reinstall the bootloader?
Please also add details what bootloader you're using.

Yes I physically swap the disks over, I swap the disks to keep Windows 10 and Mageia 8 separate. If I replace the Mageia 8
disk after booting from Windows I get the following Message -
Reboot and Select Proper Boot Device
or Insert Boot Media in in Selected Boot Device and press key.

Bootloader is Grub2 and EFI Partition.

It's no great problem I can live with it.

There is no need for such a procedure. Put both disks into your computer. Make sure in your UEFI Bios settings that the first boot media is the Mageia one. Start Mageia and update your Grub2 or Refind Bootloader. After the Update you should have the possibility to boot either Mageia or Windows.

There are also many general informations and guides for dualboot in our wiki:
