Hi. How would this plugin for the panel be installed and added to Mageia 8 32-bit: xfce4-appmenu-plugin Or something equivalent that puts an apps menu on the panel (ala Mac OS). Like this

where in this case it is the menu for Desktop items.

Hi there, as far as I'm aware, we don't have that plugin, and we also don't have any equivalent for something like the global menu.
Only GNOME has an extension that does something like that. So if you want that for XFCE, you would have to compile that yourself.
Cauldron is not for the faint of heart!
