Any Basic Mageia Tutorial?

Postby Bhu » Apr 16th, '21, 16:13

Hello,

I just installed Mageia, I am a Debian user, this is a new distro for me, just one question, I installed Xfce4, the bottom bar was removed for me (as I always do in debians) and now when I decrease any window it just doesn't open automatically on the top bar, it just disappears. :(

Thanks for any advice. :)

Mageia support multiple desktop environments.
As a principle we do not modify much the behaviour from upstream, so a general xfce tutorial should do.
For some DE we have quickstart instructions though: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Documentatio ... and_Mageia
i.e https://wiki.mageia.org/en/First_step_with_Xfce
Mandriva since 2006, Mageia 2011 at home & work. Thinkpad T40, T43, T400, T510, Dell M4400, M6300, Acer Aspire 7. Workstation using LVM, LUKS, VirtualBox, BOINC

Great! Edit the title of the post by adding [Solved] to the front if this indeed does solve the problem.

You do realize that the OP has not even responded yet, whether his issue is fixed or not ?
